What happens to the items Green4Gadgets.com buys?
Once items are received they are inventoried and inspected to make sure that they match the inventory provided on your "Checkout Confirmation" sheet. Any errors or adjustments we notice are marked down by our staff and an email is sent notifying you of any discrepancies impacting your final payment amount.
More than 80% of all the electronics we receive are reusable and are therefore tested, reconditioned and sold within the United States.
The remaining 20% are de-manufactured and recycled according to EPA, ISO and BAN guidelines in the United States. We do not dump electronics in landfills, we do not use incinerators and we do not export items to developing countries.
Where can I find the model number for my device?
Cell phone model numbers are usually located under the battery of the phone on a white sticker containing the manufacturer name and information about the device. Other electronics usually have simialr stickers on the bottom or back of the device.
Is Shipping Free?
Green4Gadgets.com provides free shipping for qualifying trade-in orders (orders valued at $25.00 or more). If your order qualifies for free shipping Green4Gadgets.com will email you a prepaid shipping label within 48 hours of the date your order.
The prices quoted online represent our firm price for a working or damaged item. Damaged items marked as working at the time of your order submission will be subject to a payment adjustment. Green4Gadgets.com will not ship any items back to you regardless of the situation. Please only trade-in items once you have reveiwed the pricing information as represented online.
How do you protect my privacy?
At Green4Gadgets.com we take your privacy seriously. Any information that is collected on our website will only be used internally for the purpose of processing your orders, sending updates and newsletters you have requested, etc. We will not sell or redistribute your information.
Data Security for Donated Electronics: All donated electronics are cleared before being redistributed for use in the United States or recycled. Although Green4Gadgets.com takes precautions to make sure that the devices we receive are cleared we recommend removing any sensitive information from your device before sending it if possible.
